CDF co-founder, Nidhi Sudhan, keynoted for the employees of Synamedia on “Inclusive Growth – beating bias to the finish line”, a global video technology provider, for International Women’s Day 2024. In alignment with the UN’s International Women’s Day 2024 campaign theme ‘Inspire Inclusion’, she spoke about the need for women to step into and lead decision-making in STEM striving to ‘fix the broken rung’. She also underscored the critical need for diverse perspectives in all stages of AI transformation and the role of unregulated AI systems in exacerbating gendered violence, bias and enduring inequities in the workplace.
The attendees resonated with the statistics shared in how they defined everyday work experiences and the shaping of their careers. They also put forth critical questions on how employees and managers can use AI-based tools carefully to their advantage.
