Abstract: For the first iteration of CDF Good Tech Guru, Citizen Digital Foundation custom-designed and conducted a three-day training programme for Kerala Police Cyberdome to impart the maximum understanding of online harms from a preventive angle. CDF Good Tech Guru is the Train-the-Trainer (ToT) component of the Good Tech Campaign designed for selected educators with a focus on strengthening information literacy. As the attending officials are best positioned to tackle online harms from a crime and law-enforcement perspective, the programme aimed to provide them with a critical understanding of the origin of harms. Attendees were equipped with the knowledge and tools to subsequently deliver training sessions, extending the programme’s reach to a wider network of students and community members. This report documents the key concepts covered, learning outcomes and insights from participating officers and counsellors across the 3 days of training.
