Job description:

  • Conceptualise and execute social media and other small-scale communication for CDF projects
  • Increase social media engagement on all CDF channels.
  • Customer Resource Management. 

The ideal candidate would possess:

  • A Bachelor’s degree.
  • Good English writing and speaking skills.
  • Creative thinking.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • An open mind, a ‘can-do’ attitude and problem-solving mindset.
  • Strong social media creative skills.
  • Knowledge of design tools like Canva would be preferred.
  • An interest in technology’s impact on society would be appreciated.

Administrative Intern

Job description:

  • Managing day-to-day office operations and logistics as briefed by the Directors.
  • Fundraising logistics management.
  • Customer Resource Management.
  • Maintaining the books of accounts.
  • Maintaining HR records.
  • Ensure adherence to organisations’ policies & procedures and other regulations related to compliance. 

The ideal candidate would possess:

  • A Bachelor’s degree.
  • Good working knowledge of MS Office suite
  • Good command over English and Malayalam.
  • Exceptional organisational skills.
  • Systems knowledge and adaptability to new tech skills.
  • Drive and self-motivation.
  • Proactive, solutions-driven mindset.

This is a commission-based internship.

Duration: 2-3 months

As a Fundraising Intern, you will play a critical role in supporting our mission. You will work closely with our team to identify and engage with potential donors, run crowdfunding campaigns, and help us reach our fundraising goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Engage with potential donors and supporters to promote our cause and raise funds.
  • Organise individual and institutional sign-ups for the courses on out information literacy platform, Litt, to help end-users understand and use technology safely.
  • Devise and drive creative methods and channels to implement fundraising strategies.
  • Keep accurate records of donations and share insights in weekly meetings.

Requirements:

  • A Masters degree in Commerce, Social Work or Law.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong office software skills and adaptability to new software and tools.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Passion for social-sector work, and making a difference in the community.

As a Community Intern, you will be responsible for reaching out to advocate CDF’s work to various online and offline institutions, corporates, enterprises, groups, forums, and networks. You will work closely with the CDF team to develop and implement community engagement strategies that align with the organisation’s mission and goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Build, mobilise, and engage a community of partners and followers aligned with CDF’s work.
  • Manage and moderate community discussions online as well as offline.
  • Identify and engage with potential partners, community members and influencers.
  • Develop and implement community engagement strategies to increase user engagement and retention.
  • Monitor and report on key community metrics and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with the CDF team to develop marketing and outreach strategies.

Requirements:

  • Pursuing or completed a Bachelor’s degree.
  • Active participation in college events and activities.

CDF is seeking a talented and driven Partnerships and Outreaches Intern, passionate about contributing to social change through our mission of safe and responsible technology for all.

As a Partnerships and Outreaches Intern, you will be responsible for reaching out to advocate CDF’s work to various online and offline institutions, corporates, enterprises, groups, forums, and networks. 

Responsibilities:

  • Identify partnership and collaboration opportunities, initiate outreaches, establish enduring relationships with clients.
  • Advocate CDF’s vision/mission and convincingly pitch CDF’s work to prospective partners and allies.
  • Interact with diverse and multiple stakeholders, build relationships & network;
  • Action and implement CDF’s programmes.
  • Identifying product improvements or new products by being updated on industry trends, market activities, and competitors.
  • Prepare strategic and tactical reports by collecting, analysing, and summarising information.
  • Contribute to organisational goals by accomplishing related results as needed.

Requirements:

  • Pursuing LLM, MBA, MSW or equivalent education
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, and organisational skills.
  • Quick learner, skilled in negotiations, with the ability to persuade others of the value of our offerings.
  • A growth mindset, a ‘can-do’ attitude, and willingness to learn.
  • Good understanding of technology from a conceptual perspective.
